1981 GMC CrewCab owned by Melvin Lasster

This truck is a 1981 GMC CrewCab pickup that belongs to Melvin Lasster of Farmington, NM.  The truck is receiving a 2005 Dodge Cummins Engine and Transmission.  Melvin has preformed most of the engine/trans install himself, including fabricating custom engine mounts and a new core support.  He left the vehicle with Allison Customs for a complete rewire on the Cab/Chassis as well as a stand-alone engine harness and stand-alone transmission harness.  The project is well underway now and back in Melvin’s garage where he hopes to complete it over the winter.
